Prep Pupils Perform with Bath Philharmonia School Voices

On Friday 17th May, eight Monkton Prep pupils had the opportunity to perform with the Bath Philharmonic Orchestra School Voices Choirs at Bath Abbey as part of the Bath Festival Party in the City. The choir ‘Harmony Rising’, was made up of 120 school students from across every secondary school in Bath, as well as a group of Young Carers from Bath & North East Somerset. They sang four songs they had written collectively as part of a series of songwriting workshops.

On Saturday 18th the choir performed again at the Forum for the Bath Concert for the People, joined by Bath Philharmonia and the Band of the Royal Marines as part of a spectacular concert of film music.

It was an exciting weekend, celebrating the creativity of our incredible young people!
