Jazz@Monkton Play at Party in the City

Friday 17th May was the first day of Bath Festivals' ‘Party in the City.’ This event is an opportunity for all artists and bands across the city of Bath to perform live music, and Jazz@Monkton had the great privilege of playing at Bath’s beautiful Guildhall, kicking off proceedings at that venue.

We played a 30 minute set of classic jazz funk and bebop including Cissy Strut and Moanin. The audience loved our playing and we were grateful to receive some very appreciative and flattering comments from the general public. We’ll be back next year!
