GCSE Exam Results
The GCSE programme we offer at Monkton is designed to prepare our students for sixth form life. This is mainly achieved through the expectations we place on them to be resourceful, intentional and imaginative in their studies rather than having a narrow specification-led approach which emphasises content over understanding.
Our aims are much wider than numbers on a certificate - we hope that as you explore this website, that will become self-evident - but of course we want our students to gain excellent grades and so do all we can to support them in getting to grips with the demands of the examinations. As you can see below, that broader education is not at the expense of fantastic grades, and we are extremely proud of the work our students put in to achieve them, giving them access to higher education and beyond.
