Monkton named in Top 3 Independent Schools in the UK for Pastoral Care
Monkton's pastoral program was commended in the 'Best of the Best' series in the latest edition of The Week Magazine's Independent Schools Guide.

The Wellbeing Centre is available for all students and is always open. With two qualified nurses, students have access to consultations twice a week and less formal counselling. The wrap-around care provides consistent guidance and support, addressing individual needs and challenges.
In the past two years, three boarding houses have been refurbished, with a focus on improving social spaces. Boarding and Day students alike benefit from these spaces and complete integration, with day students often staying well beyond the end of the academic day to make the most of activities in the boarding houses. Wellbeing spaces and listening pods in the Wellbeing Centre, combined with prayer space in the Chapel, all provide places for student reflection.
Monkton also excels in creating a safe and inclusive community. Monkton embraces diversity and encourages open dialogue, providing training for students on issues such as bullying, inclusivity, and empathy.
Our commitment extends to parents, offering regular workshops and resources to help them support their children’s wellbeing at home.
