With examination dates looming students often find it hard to revise at home. Monkton’s Easter revision courses offer expert advice from teachers who are well versed in the challenges that examinations place upon candidates. Our staff will be on hand to offer individual guidance and support, and to coach to each student through the revision of demanding topics and difficult subject material.

The final weeks before examinations are a crucial stage for success which could influence a student’s final examination outcome. The Monkton Easter revision course focuses on providing our students the ‘edge’ through: concentrated study periods, discussion and examination techniques designed to get the best from each individual delivered by experienced and very successful staff, many of whom have worked as examiners.

Our programme offers the following advantages:

• Guidance and expert tuition on hand to deliver content based around your specific study needs.
• Average class sizes are 5-8, with a maximum of 10 students per class, so individual attention is assured throughout
• Small group revision coaching will be available on request to share strategies for learning, revising, time-planning and problem-solving.
• To help ensure that all students get the most out of the courses offered they will be asked to complete a questionnaire prior to the start of the course identifying areas of concern, or areas that they feel they would like to focus on during the week.
• Students can study a maximum of two subject choices over the four day period, choosing one subject to study for all four mornings and one subject for all four afternoon sessions.
  Booking note : When booking the first subject choice might be fully booked, so we do ask that you choose a second and third subject choice  just in case your first choice is no longer available.

Our Easter Revision Courses are open to all students, you do not have to attend Monkton in order to book a place. The full timetable can be seen below. Every effort is made to assimilate different examination boards and topic areas, though this may not always be possible for certain subjects.  

To book please fill in the booking form below. Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Once we have received the booking form we will get back to you as quickly as possible to provisionally confirm your place on subjects chosen, and to issue you with a link for payment. We do ask for a second and third subject choice if possible, just in case one of your first subject choices is fully booked. Full confirmation of your booking will only be made once full payment has been made to Monkton via the payment link.

Enrolment costs

The course runs for 4 days and is a Non-Residential offering.

One subject choice (A level or GCSE) - £450.00

Two subject choices (A level or GCSE) - £790.00

Morning session 

• Our day will begin with sign in at 8.45am with the morning session finishing 12.00 noon. A fully catered nutritional lunch will be available to students who have chosen two subjects to study and are on site all day. 

Afternoon sessions

• Sign in will begin at 12.45 with departure from site at 4.00pm.

(Snacks and refreshments will be available during a short break in both morning and afternoon sessions).
