Bath Half Marathon Volunteering

On Sunday 17th March we took a team of volunteers to support the Genesis Trust at the Bath Half by helping with the baggage tent. The sun came out and it was a great day. This is part of our ongoing partnership with the Genesis Trust, who work to support vulnerable and homeless people in Bath and the surrounding area. We were delighted to be invited back to support them again, having done so at the last Bath Half in October 2023. 

We helped to manage over 4000 bags for the runners, and it was great to be part of such a positive event. Special thanks to current parent Fleur for her committed support and leadership in coming back for another year, as well as to Craig and Liz (part of the Monkton team) and their dog Gus who kept morale high! Thanks also to Miss Steele-Falcon and Mr Douglas, and to our amazing team from across the year groups, Arthur, Timothy, Faith, Sophie, Lucas and Charlie - many of whom had been up late the night before performing in Pride and Prejudice.

Everyone worked incredibly well together, showing real perseverance, energy and kindness throughout the day.
