Monkton Prep School Gifted U18 England Match Shirt

It has been an exciting 9 weeks on the Rugby front, with our Prep School boys playing a range of oppositions and enjoying the opportunity to express their skills and ability both home and away. From All Hallows to Beaudesert, Perrot Hill to The Downs, we have loved seeing our boys continually growing in confidence and the smiles on their faces game after game is testament to this. 

Our coaching staff have been hard at work this term so far, getting our boys to develop their catching and passing, stepping and tackling with huge rewards to date.

It was fantastic to have Jack B, our current 1st XV captain and former Prep School pupil, join the U13A team for their match against Prior Park to share a few inspirational words. Jack has had a fantastic year on the rugby pitch, representing the England U18 group on their tour of South Africa in the Summer and has recently been included in the U18 Development Squad in preparation for the internationals coming up over the 2022 Christmas break.

After visiting the team, he generously donated one of his England U18 match shirts to the Prep School, and we are so proud of the player and young man he has become. We look forward to seeing the boys continue to express themselves and learn the values of teamwork and leadership throughout the rest of the season.
