On Thursday afternoon, the First XV had a surprise addition to their coaching ranks with local boy, Gloucester, Leicester, Bath and England playmaker Freddie Burns leading the session and developing the players understanding of attacking play.  Thanks to Mr Staunton, Freddie was able to observe the boys in advance before leading all of the players in creating space, manipulating defenders and finishing opportunities.

First XV Head Coach Mr Heslop was hugely grateful for the additional input saying 'What an opportunity for these players to listen to and learn from a player with such talent who has played with and against the very best.  I have no doubt that every player will remember the messages they received and the experience they had today.  We can't thank Freddie enough for taking time out to help us before his exciting adventure in Japan begins'

Freddie has joined Shokki Shuttles in Nagoya, which is owned by the Toyota company and is looking forward to showcasing his attacking talents in the Top Challenge League when he joins up with his squad mates.  Thank you very much Freddie and good luck! -
