South West Schools Cross Country: 4 Monkton Runners Represent Avon

On Saturday 3rd February, four talented Monkton runners represented Avon at the South West Championships at RNAS Merryfield, having qualified from the Avon Championships in January.
Congratulations to Zac, who took the Bronze medal and was first home for Avon in the Minor boys category. For the Minor girls, Katherine placed 20th overall and was 4th home for Avon. She took the Silver medal as part of the Avon Minor girls team.
In the Senior girls, Liv and Hannah made their debut for Avon and placed 57th and 53rd respectively.
Well done to all four for completing the course and for achieving county representation.
