Fox Hill Christmas Hampers and Lunch

As part of our ongoing partnerships work with the local community, a team of Monkton pupils headed to the Fox Hill Community Christmas Lunch, to help prepare and serve the lunch, sing carols, and chat the the guests. In addition, thanks to the incredible support of our Monkton community, we were able to deliver forty five special Christmas hampers, for the Fox Hill Christmas Hamper Initiative!

We loved our visit to Fox Hill, and were welcomed so warmly by the incredible team there. Here is the message they sent us in response:

"We want you to know how much we appreciate Monkton's enthusiastic involvement in the Foxhill Focus Community Christmas Lunch! It was just lovely to have the students singing carols to warmly welcome guests inside! All the students were so willing and flexible as they helped with setting things up and then serving the lunch ...and then they cheerfully helped with all the clearing up afterwards. We had so many comments from guests who loved having them there to serve and sing, and I know the whole team really appreciated all their help and cheerful willingness to serve.

And a huge thank you to everyone in the Monkton community for all the generous donations and to the team that put together all the amazing Christmas bags! We will be giving them on December 20th and I'm sure they will be a happy blessing to everyone who receives them."
