Heroes of the Past

The Pre-Prep was a awash with famous faces yesterday when pupils from Year 1 and 2 turned up for school dressed as their favourite 'Hero from the Past'. Over the first half term they will be finding out about the remarkable people who changed history.
It was wonderful to see the breadth of time periods covered and the different influential people the children chose; Winston Churchill, Vera Brittain, Princess Diana, Neil Armstrong and Freddie Mercury to name but a few.
Following a strut along the catwalk to tell us who they were, the children then shared the interesting facts they had researched over the holidays with other members of Year 1 and 2.
