School Life

Monkton Pre-Prep is a hidden jewel in Combe Down’s crown!  We share glorious and stunning grounds with Monkton Prep and we are just a mile from the historic city of Bath.

Our facilities are amazing – a secret garden for our nursery; an indoor pool; an outdoor classroom built by our pupils which can be either a stable in Bethlehem or a place to practise their performing arts; coppiced and green spaces for our woodland explorers to build their fires and dens and the Copse play area where they can just let off steam!

We measure their success by the size of their smiles. 

But at the heart of the Pre-Prep is our wish to give the very best start to each child by providing a rich and varied education within a loving, caring, Christian environment.  We really do treat each child as a valued and unique individual with the dedicated staff working as a united team to support the children’s early learning and development.  At Monkton Pre-Prep, we encourage curiosity, creativity, sensitivity, ambition and empathy.
