Mid Somerset Festival 2017

This year over 140 Monkton Prep School children took part in the Mid-Somerset with some outstanding results, including 11 First Places! 

The pupils took part in a broad range of individual music, verse speaking, drama and ensemble events and all showed a fantastic commitment to their performance. Congratulations to all who took part, a rewarding experience for all and some well-deserved winners.

“Participation in music can be a life changing experience for many children. It has many benefits not only academically but it also enables them to form lasting friendships as well as making them more disciplined and confident individuals.”
